The Odessa Chamber of Commerce, in association with UnitedHealthcare, is pleased to offer members an affordable, quality healthcare option for group health insurance through the Permian Basin Health Plan Cooperative. The new insurance cooperative is available to business owners who are members of the Odessa Chamber of Commerce. Under the program, businesses that enroll with UnitedHealthcare through the Chamber will receive a 7% reduction on premiums on select medical plans, and have an option for additional 5% savings on their bundled dental and vision plans.

A few important facts about the plan:

• The Odessa Chamber of Commerce is not acting as a health insurance broker;
• You must be a Chamber member to receive the discount; and
• You must use a certified Odessa Chamber Member Agent to receive the discount.

Companies may apply for coverage for January 1, 2012 and later effective dates. Employers interested in the Permian Basin Health Plan Cooperative should contact their insurance agent or the Odessa Chamber of Commerce at (432) 332-9111.
