Newspaper: The Odessa American, located at 222 East 4th Street (337-OAOA) and the Midland Reporter Telegram, located at 201 E. Illinios (682-5311) are the only local daily newspapers. However, UTPB’s Mesa Journal, and the Odessa College Newsline are some of the other newspapers in the area. Large city newspapers are delivered to the area on a regular basis.

Radio: There are currently 21 radio stations operating in Odessa. The classifications are Christian, Contemporary, Country, Hip Hop, Public Radio/News Talk, Rock, R & B and Tejano.

Television: There are seven television stations in Odessa – KWES-TV channel 9 (NBC); KOSA-TV channel 7 (CBS); KMID-TV channel 2 (ABC); KPEJ-TV (Fox) 24; KOCV-TV channel 13 (PBS); KMLM channel 42 (Prime Time Christian Broadcasting); MYTV16 - 16; and KUPB Univision 18 (Hispanic).
