Airports: Midland International Airport has approximately 473,851 boardings and 469,207 deplanements per year. It is owned and operated by the City of Midland. The airport is conveniently located approximately halfway between both cities. American Eagle, Continental Airlines and Southwest Airlines provide more than 56 arrivals and departures daily. Non-stop jet service to Dallas, Houston, Las Vegas, Albuquerque, El Paso, and Austin are available, with connections to every major city in the U.S.

Schleymeyer Field is located in northern Ector County and is Odessa’s oldest municipal airport. Schleymeyer acts as Odessa’s business reliever airport and is not served by commercial airlines. Three runways, inluding a new 6200 foot runway, are available with overnight hangar space, auxiliary power unit and conveniences such as pilots' lounge, courtesy and rental cars are available.
